Jeff grew-up in Langley BC and received his DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Jeff worked as a mixed animal vet in Alberta and BC before going back to school.
He received an MSC in epidemiology from the same school, a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Guelph, and an Executive Masters in Technology Management from Laurier.
Jeff worked as an infectious disease epidemiologist with the Public Health Agency of Canada before founding a health informatics firm.
Jeff got back into veterinary medicine 5 years ago to design and launch a new type of pet healthcare - one that engages pet families as partners - not profit centres; and care teams as healthcare professionals - not skilled labour.
In 2022, his groundbreaking FIP case series study in Ontario, Canada, was born out of his determination to find a less painful, safe and more cost-effective way to treat Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) under the care of a licensed DMV, using research-quality, pharmacy-compounded oral GS-441524, at a time when this medication was not yet easily available for veterinarians in North America. Between November 2022 and April 2025, Dr. Aramini treated over 600 cases of FIP as part of his trial.

I came back to veterinary medicine for one reason - to launch a new type of pet healthcare: One that engages pet families as partners - not profit centres; and care teams as healthcare professionals - not skilled labour.
